This Privacy Policy explains how Dovemarch® collects, uses, discloses, stores, retains, transfers, and protects personal information when you visit our website, purchase products, create or use an account, contact us, request customer support, submit a return or refund request, subscribe to marketing communications, exercise a privacy right, or otherwise interact with Dovemarch®.
References in this Privacy Policy to “Dovemarch®,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean:
Wuhan Juyuan Tangchuang Network Technology Co., Ltd.
Wuhan Juyuan Tangchuang Network Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for the personal information processing described in this Privacy Policy to the extent that it determines the purposes and means of that processing.
Our full business and privacy contact details appear at the beginning of this Policy and again in Section 15.
Visiting our website, placing an order, accepting store terms, or providing a phone number during checkout does not automatically constitute consent to receive promotional emails, marketing text messages, non-essential advertising tracking, or other processing for which applicable law requires separate consent.
Where separate consent is legally required, we will treat that consent separately from information needed to process your order, arrange delivery, provide customer service, or perform another service you request.
2. Personal Information We Collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with Dovemarch®.
Contact and Identification Information
We may collect information such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and other contact information that you provide to us.
Order and Transaction Information
We may collect information relating to your purchases, including products ordered, order number, order value, discounts, shipping method, delivery information, payment status, transaction references, returns, refunds, cancellations, and customer-service history associated with an order.
Payment Information
Payments are processed through payment service providers available through our checkout.
Depending on the payment method selected, the relevant provider may process payment card, bank, wallet, billing, transaction-verification, authentication, fraud-prevention, and refund information.
We do not ask customers to send complete payment card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or similar payment credentials to us by email.
Account Information
If account functionality is available and you create or maintain an account, we may process information such as your account contact details, login-related information, order history, saved preferences, and account activity.
Customer Service and Return Information
When you contact us, we may collect your contact information, order number, correspondence, complaint details, return or refund information, delivery information, photographs of products or packaging, and other information you voluntarily provide so that we can investigate and resolve your request.
Device and Website Usage Information
Depending on the website functions and technologies actually used, certain technical information may be processed automatically.
This may include IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, session information, referring page, pages viewed, product interactions, approximate location inferred from IP address, and the date and time of website activity.
Marketing and Privacy Preferences
We may maintain records of promotional email subscriptions and unsubscribe requests, privacy requests, advertising opt-out requests, consent choices, Global Privacy Control or other legally recognized preference signals where applicable, and other privacy preferences that we are required or able to record.
Reviews and Other Voluntary Submissions
If you submit a product review, feedback, photograph, comment, or other content, we process the information you voluntarily provide for the purpose for which it was submitted.
3. Sources of Information and How We Use It
We may receive personal information directly from you, automatically through website functions actually used, through Shopify as our commerce platform, from payment providers, shipping and fulfillment providers, delivery partners, and other service providers involved in providing a requested service.
We use personal information for the purposes described below.
Orders and Contract Performance
We process personal information to receive and confirm orders, process payments, arrange fulfillment and delivery, provide shipment information, handle cancellations, process returns and refunds, and resolve product or delivery problems.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this processing may be necessary to enter into or perform our contract with you.
Customer Service
We use customer contact information, order information, communications, and relevant product information to answer questions, investigate complaints, provide support, and resolve return, refund, damaged-product, defective-product, incorrect-order, missing-item, and delivery matters.
Security and Fraud Prevention
We may use account, transaction, device, order, and technical information to protect the website, detect suspicious activity, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, secure customer accounts, manage chargebacks, and protect Dovemarch®, our customers, and our service providers.
Where permitted, this processing may be based on our legitimate interests in maintaining the security and integrity of our services, subject to any balancing required by applicable law.
Legal and Recordkeeping Requirements
We may process and retain information where reasonably necessary for accounting, taxation, regulatory compliance, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal claims, audits, and responses to valid requests from public authorities.
Website Operation and Improvement
We may process technical and website-use information where reasonably necessary to operate the online store, maintain functionality, diagnose problems, understand website performance, and improve the shopping experience.
We do not identify a particular analytics provider as actively used unless its use has actually been confirmed.
Advertising and Marketing
Where permitted by applicable law, we may use personal information to send promotional communications to customers who have validly subscribed and to support or measure advertising activities actually used by Dovemarch®.
Where applicable law requires consent for a particular marketing activity or non-essential technology, the relevant consent requirement applies.
Providing information needed for an order does not by itself constitute marketing consent.
4. Website Technologies and Privacy Choices
Our website uses technologies necessary to operate the online store and provide functions requested by customers.
These technologies may support shopping-cart functionality, checkout, order processing, account functionality, website security, fraud prevention, session management, and other services necessary to operate the store.
Depending on the services actually enabled on our website, certain technical information may also be processed for website measurement, performance, or advertising purposes.
We do not state that a particular non-essential analytics, advertising, or tracking provider is active unless that service is actually enabled and its use has been confirmed.
Where applicable law gives you a right to opt out of processing that may be considered a sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, you may exercise that right through our Your Privacy Choices page or by contacting:
Please identify the nature of your request so that we can process it appropriately.
Some browsers or extensions support privacy preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Where applicable law requires us to recognize a valid preference signal, and the signal is received and technically supported by the website or relevant services, we will process it in accordance with applicable law.
A browser-based preference normally applies to the browser and device transmitting the signal unless applicable law requires a broader application.
Browser settings may also allow you to restrict or delete certain locally stored website information. Restricting technologies necessary for shopping, checkout, security, or other requested functionality may affect your ability to use parts of the website.
5. Service Providers and Disclosure of Personal Information
We disclose personal information only where reasonably necessary to operate Dovemarch®, complete customer transactions, provide requested services, protect the website and our business, meet legal obligations, or carry out the other purposes described in this Policy.
Shopify
Our online store is hosted and operated using Shopify.
Shopify may process information relating to storefront visits, devices and browsers, checkout, customer accounts, orders, security, fraud prevention, and other Shopify functionality used in connection with our store.
Shopify may process some information on our behalf and may also process information for purposes described in its own privacy documentation.
For further information, please review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Policy.
Payment Providers
Payment providers may receive information reasonably necessary to authorize payments, verify transactions, prevent fraud, process chargebacks, issue refunds, and perform other payment-related services.
The particular payment provider involved depends on the payment method selected at checkout.
Shipping, Fulfillment, and Delivery Providers
We may provide shipping, fulfillment, and delivery providers with information such as your name, shipping address, telephone number where reasonably required for delivery, order information, parcel information, and tracking details.
This information is used to prepare, transport, deliver, track, and investigate shipments.
Customer Service
Customer-service requests are handled using our published customer-service contact information together with the order and store systems needed to investigate and resolve the request.
If we introduce a separate third-party customer-support platform that materially receives or processes customer personal information, we may update this Policy or another applicable privacy notice to describe the relevant provider and processing.
Analytics and Advertising Providers
If analytics, advertising, or similar services are actually enabled, those services may process technical information such as IP address, device or browser information, website interactions, pages or products viewed, referral information, and advertising interaction information to the extent relevant to the service being used.
We identify specific analytics or advertising providers in this Policy only where their use on our website has been confirmed.
If Dovemarch® enables a material new analytics, advertising, customer-support, or similar service, we may update this Privacy Policy and, where appropriate, our Your Privacy Choices page to identify the relevant provider, purpose, and available privacy rights.
Professional Advisers and Public Authorities
We may disclose personal information to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, courts, regulators, tax authorities, law-enforcement agencies, or other public authorities where reasonably necessary for professional advice, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or compliance with a valid legal request.
Business Transfers
If Dovemarch® or relevant business assets are reorganized, merged, acquired, transferred, or sold, personal information relevant to the transaction may be disclosed subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, some disclosures for advertising purposes may be defined as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising,” even where no money is exchanged.
If processing carried out through services actually used by Dovemarch® falls within one of these definitions, eligible individuals may exercise applicable opt-out rights through our Your Privacy Choices page or by contacting:
6. Data Retention
We do not apply one identical retention period to every category of personal information.
Retention depends on why the information was collected, whether the relevant transaction or relationship remains active, applicable accounting or tax requirements, security and fraud-prevention needs, reasonable dispute and claims periods, and other applicable legal requirements.
Order, Transaction, Payment, and Financial Records
Order, transaction, payment-status, refund, and related financial information is retained while the relevant transaction is active and afterward for the period reasonably necessary to process refunds, handle chargebacks, maintain accounting and tax records, investigate fraud, respond to disputes, demonstrate transaction history, and satisfy applicable legal recordkeeping obligations.
Where applicable law requires a particular accounting, tax, or financial record to be retained for a specified period, the applicable legal period controls.
Customer Service, Complaint, Return, and Refund Records
Customer-service information is retained while the relevant inquiry, complaint, return, refund, delivery investigation, or other support matter remains open.
After the matter is closed, relevant records may be retained for a proportionate period where reasonably necessary to respond to follow-up inquiries, document the resolution provided, handle disputes or chargebacks, prevent abuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Photographs or other supporting materials submitted to Customer Support will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes unless another legal basis requires continued retention.
Account Information
Account information is generally retained while the account remains active.
If an account is closed, personal information that is not independently required for transaction records, legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose will be deleted, anonymized, or scheduled for deletion through the applicable system process.
Closing an account does not automatically require deletion of transaction records that we must or may lawfully retain.
Marketing Records
Marketing subscription information is retained while the relevant subscription remains active.
If you unsubscribe, we may retain a limited suppression record, such as your email address and unsubscribe status, for the period reasonably necessary to ensure that your opt-out continues to be respected.
An unsubscribe record is not treated as permission to resume promotional communications.
Analytics and Advertising Information
Where an analytics or advertising service is actually enabled, retention of information processed through that service depends on the provider involved, the configuration of that service, the relevant purpose, privacy or consent choices, and applicable legal requirements.
We do not publish a provider-specific retention period for an analytics or advertising service that has not been confirmed as active.
Security and Fraud Records
Security logs, fraud indicators, and investigation records may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to investigate incidents, detect repeated abuse, protect customers and our services, manage chargebacks, and satisfy applicable legal or security obligations.
Privacy Request and Preference Records
Information concerning privacy requests, opt-outs, consent choices, identity verification, authorized-agent requests, appeals, and our responses may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to complete the request, demonstrate compliance, maintain the requested preference, and meet applicable legal requirements.
When identifiable personal information is no longer reasonably necessary and no applicable legal or legitimate retention requirement remains, it will be deleted or anonymized through the systems in which it is stored.
Information that temporarily remains in system backups may remain restricted from ordinary use and will be removed according to the applicable backup process.
7. Privacy Rights, Requests, Verification, Response Times, and Appeals
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information.
These rights may include the right to access personal information, obtain a copy of information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain portable information where applicable, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising activities, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, appeal certain privacy decisions, or lodge a complaint with an appropriate regulatory authority.
The availability and scope of a particular right depend on the law that applies to you and the circumstances of our processing.
How to Submit a Privacy Request
You may submit a privacy request by contacting:
Please describe the privacy right you wish to exercise and provide sufficient information for us to locate the relevant records.
Depending on the request, useful information may include your name, the email address associated with your account or order, and an order number where relevant.
You should not provide more personal information than reasonably necessary for us to process your request.
Where applicable privacy laws provide another legally required submission method, we will also make that method available as required.
Identity Verification
For requests that involve accessing, deleting, correcting, or otherwise affecting identifiable personal information, we may take reasonable and proportionate steps to verify that the requester is the relevant individual or an authorized representative where permitted or required by applicable law.
Verification may involve comparing information you provide with information already associated with your account, order, or previous communications.
We will request only information reasonably necessary for verification in light of the nature and sensitivity of the request.
Information collected specifically for verification will be used for verification and related compliance purposes and will not be used as permission for unrelated marketing.
We will not require verification where applicable law prohibits it or where verification is not permitted or appropriate for the particular type of request.
Where applicable law allows the response period to be calculated from the date necessary verification or clarification is received, we will follow that rule. Where the law requires the response period to continue running from the original date of the request, we will follow that requirement instead.
Authorized Agents
Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, we may request reasonable evidence that the agent is authorized to act for you.
Where legally permitted, we may also ask you to verify your identity directly with us or confirm that you authorized the agent to make the request.
An authorized agent may submit a request through:
Response Times
We will process privacy requests without undue delay and within the period required by the law applicable to the particular request.
European Union – GDPR: Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we will generally provide information regarding action taken on an eligible request within one month after receiving the request. Where permitted because of the complexity or number of requests, that period may be extended by up to two additional months. If we rely on such an extension, we will provide the required notice of the extension and the reasons for the delay within the initial one-month period.
United Kingdom – UK data protection law: Where UK data protection law applies, we will generally respond to an eligible data-protection rights request without undue delay and within one calendar month, subject to applicable rules regarding verification, clarification, or other legally permitted adjustments to the response period. Where permitted because a request is complex or multiple requests have been made, the response period may be extended by up to two additional months, and we will provide the notice required by law.
California – CCPA/CPRA: Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies, eligible requests to know, delete, or correct personal information will generally be answered within 45 calendar days after receipt of the request. Where permitted by California law and reasonably necessary, the response period may be extended by an additional 45 calendar days, and we will notify you of the extension as required.
Other California privacy requests, including applicable sale or sharing opt-out requests, will be handled within the timeframe specifically required for that type of request.
Other U.S. States: If another U.S. state privacy law applies to your request, we will use the response period required by that state. Many state privacy laws use specific response periods and may permit an extension where statutory conditions are satisfied. We will notify you of an extension where the applicable law requires notice.
Other Countries and Regions: Where another privacy or data-protection law applies, we will respond within the deadline established by that law.
If different laws could potentially apply, we will use the legally applicable response requirement and will not use a longer period merely because another jurisdiction permits more time.
If we need information reasonably necessary to identify the records involved, verify your identity, verify an authorized agent, or clarify an unclear request, we will contact you as promptly as reasonably possible.
Requesting additional information will affect the response deadline only where and to the extent applicable law permits.
Extensions
We will not extend a response period merely for administrative convenience.
Where applicable law permits an extension because of complexity, request volume, or another statutory reason, we will provide notice within the period required by that law and explain the reason for the extension where required.
An extension under one jurisdiction does not automatically apply to a request governed by another jurisdiction.
Refusals and Limitations
If we cannot fulfill all or part of a privacy request, we will explain the reason where required by applicable law.
A request may be subject to a lawful exception where, for example, information must continue to be retained for legal compliance, transaction records, accounting or tax obligations, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, protection of another person's rights, or another purpose recognized by applicable law.
Where GDPR or UK data-protection law applies and we do not take action on an eligible request, we will provide the information and complaint or remedy information required by the applicable law.
Where a U.S. state privacy law requires notice of the reason for refusing a request and information about any available appeal process, we will provide that notice.
Appeals
Certain U.S. state privacy laws provide consumers with a right to appeal a business's decision concerning a privacy request.
Where such a right applies, you may submit an appeal by contacting:
Please state “Privacy Request Appeal” and identify the original privacy request or decision you wish us to review.
We will review an eligible appeal and respond within the deadline required by the applicable state law.
Because appeal deadlines differ between jurisdictions, we do not apply one universal appeal period. Where an applicable law requires a response within a specific period, including a 45-day or 60-day period where applicable, we will follow the period required for your jurisdiction.
If applicable law requires us, after denying an appeal, to provide information about contacting a state attorney general, data-protection authority, or another competent regulator, we will provide that information.
Complaints to Supervisory Authorities
Where applicable law gives you the right to complain to a supervisory or regulatory authority, exercising our internal privacy-request or appeal process does not remove that right.
For example, where EU or UK data-protection law applies, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
Non-Discrimination
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by applicable law.
Exercising a privacy right will not by itself affect your ability to purchase products or receive services from Dovemarch®, except where the information concerned is reasonably necessary to provide a requested service or applicable law otherwise permits a different result.
8. Marketing Communications
Order confirmations, payment notices, shipping and tracking updates, delivery communications, cancellation messages, return and refund notices, fraud or security communications, and customer-support messages are service communications.
These communications are separate from promotional marketing and may be sent where reasonably necessary to complete or support your transaction or request.
Promotional Emails
Promotional emails are handled separately from service communications.
Where applicable law requires consent or another specific authorization, promotional marketing will be based on the appropriate subscription or opt-in mechanism.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the communication or by contacting:
Unsubscribing from promotional marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary communications concerning an existing order, return, refund, account, security matter, or customer-support request.
Telephone Numbers and Marketing Text Messages
Providing a telephone number during checkout, for delivery, for account purposes, or to Customer Support does not by itself authorize Dovemarch® to send promotional text messages.
If Dovemarch® offers a marketing SMS or text-message program, enrollment will be handled through a separate subscription or authorization process where required.
Applicable marketing text messages will include or otherwise provide the appropriate method for withdrawing from the program.
Withdrawing consent to promotional messages does not prevent necessary non-marketing communications where otherwise permitted by law.
9. International and Cross-Border Processing
Wuhan Juyuan Tangchuang Network Technology Co., Ltd. is located in China.
Because Dovemarch® operates an international online store and uses service providers involved in ecommerce, payments, fulfillment, and delivery, personal information may be processed, accessed, transferred, or stored outside the country or region in which you live.
This may include processing or access in China, locations where Shopify provides relevant services, locations where payment providers operate, countries involved in international fulfillment or delivery, and other jurisdictions where relevant service providers process information.
Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.
Where applicable law requires a particular safeguard for an international transfer, the transfer will be handled using an applicable lawful mechanism.
Depending on the relevant law and circumstances, such mechanisms may include an adequacy decision, approved contractual protections, standard contractual clauses, another legally recognized transfer mechanism, or an applicable statutory exception.
You may contact:
to request information about safeguards relevant to a particular international transfer where applicable law requires such information to be provided.
Shopify separately describes its own international data-processing and transfer practices in its privacy documentation.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, and destruction.
The measures used may vary according to the nature of the information, the systems involved, and the risks associated with the processing.
No website, electronic transmission method, online service, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please protect your account credentials and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information, complete payment card information, security codes, or passwords to Customer Support.
Where a personal-data breach results in a legally required notification obligation, we will provide the notifications required by applicable law.
11. Children
Dovemarch® is intended for customers who have the legal capacity to shop independently and is not directed to children for the purpose of knowingly collecting children's personal information.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, please contact:
We will review the circumstances and take appropriate action where required.
12. External Links
Our website may contain links to websites, platforms, or services operated by third parties.
Information you provide directly to a third party is subject to that third party's own privacy practices.
We encourage you to review the relevant third-party privacy notice before providing information directly to that service.
This section does not remove Dovemarch®'s responsibilities for personal information that we ourselves collect, control, or disclose.
13. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide rights relating to the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or other specified processing.
For information about applicable privacy choices, please review our Dovemarch® Your Privacy Choices page.
You may also submit an applicable opt-out request directly to:
Please identify your request as a privacy opt-out, sale/sharing opt-out, or targeted-advertising opt-out request where appropriate.
Privacy choices may apply differently depending on the nature of the request, applicable law, and whether the relevant processing can be associated with a particular browser, device, account, or identifiable customer record.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our business practices, services, website technologies, service providers, legal obligations, or regulatory requirements.
When we make changes, we will publish the revised Privacy Policy on this page and update the applicable effective or revision date.
Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent before materially different processing begins, we will provide that notice or obtain the required consent.
Continued browsing of the Dovemarch® website alone does not constitute consent to processing for which applicable law requires separate consent.
If we begin using a material new analytics, advertising, customer-support, or similar provider that receives or processes customer personal information in a manner requiring disclosure, this Privacy Policy or another applicable privacy notice may be updated accordingly.
Changes to this Privacy Policy do not retroactively create consent for processing that required consent at the time it occurred.
